What makes this event so special isn’t just the miles walked, it’s the people (spotted amongst the THOUSANDS of people who took part), the community spirit, and the incredible support it brings to a hospice that means so much to so many across Southport and beyond.

For many families, is far more than a hospice. It’s comfort, care, support, dignity, friendship, and a lifeline during the hardest moments imaginable. Events like Star Trekk help ensure those vital services continue for the people who need them most.

Amazing to see the community come together once again to support such an important cause 👏

Some days test you in ways you never expected. Progress feels slow, obstacles keep showing up, and it’s easy to wonder if it’s all worth it. But keep trying. Keep showing up. Even when things get tough, trust that in time, everything will come together the way it’s meant to.

Opening the clinic wasn’t easy! Renovating it pushed patience, energy, and belief to the limit. There were moments it felt overwhelming, like the finish line kept moving further away. But step by step, it started to take shape… and now, looking at it, every challenge was worth it.

Don’t give up on what you’re building. The hard parts don’t last forever but the satisfaction of seeing it all come together does! 💫
