Today we did training with Eye Care On Call where staff participate in an interactive scenario, where they step into the residents shoes.

They wore frames to simulate residents eye conditions and gloves to mimic the limited mobility of arthritis. Then they completed a task of what a resident would do on a daily basis, such as eating a meal. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Those who experience the challenges faced by residents can better emphathise and respond more effectively to problems as they arise. ๐Ÿ˜Š

This was definitely an eye opener for our staff. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ
