A rather slithery visitor at Daffodil Lodge 🐍

Residents at Daffodil Lodge Care Home enjoyed a very special visit today as Cleo the snake came along to say hello.

Cleo was brought in by Danika from our care team over at Marina Care Home giving residents the chance to see, touch and spend time with her in a calm and supported way.

For many, it sparked curiosity, smiles and lovely conversations as everyone took things at their own pace.

Arrows at the ready at Daffodil Lodge Care Home 🎯🩵💛

Our residents enjoyed a relaxed game of darts, sharing laughs, cheering each other on and enjoying a bit of friendly rivalry.

Activities like this are a lovely way to support hand–eye coordination, confidence and connection — all while having fun together.

We had a lovely visit at Daffodil Lodge this week from the RISE team! 💃🎄

Residents enjoyed a fun-filled session of gentle exercises, Christmas-themed games, music and a quiz – with plenty of smiles, movement and laughter along the way. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and enjoying the session.

A big thank you to RISE for bringing such energy and festive cheer into our home. 💙💛
