TBT - In what was call the Ramada Hotel in Southport for the 6AM ‘Sefton Chamber’ buisness breakfast- We used to do these every couple of weeks or it could of been every week?

This is one of the times it was Clinic-Al’s turn to do a 20 min presentation on the work we did at the Clinic.

I loved scripting and planning these presentations, as a team we would run through this the day before, to make sure we nailed it on the day.

Working as a team was lots of fun and we did it well 🙏

A lovely gift off 2 of my ‘Sports Massage Students’

Apparently I like to use the words ‘GeeWiz’ + ‘Gnarly’

I also like to do memorable things……..Like walking into class with a saw under my arm. (Like in the picture) Not because I’m crazy 🤪 ok maybe I am a little bit!) The real reason is to help my students remember.

There is a muscle here called Serratus Anterior located at the side of the rib cage and the name of the muscle means its appearance is like a serrated edge, just like the edge of a saw.

‘Throw back Thursdays’ - 2018 - When there was a team of us working together at Clinic-Al.

Team training was done most weeks where I would quite often run the sessions. I used to thoroughly enjoy working with my team.

Nothing ever stays the same and everything always changes.

In 2019 I started The Clinical Academy and have therapist and students now travelling from all over the north-west and even from Scotland.

I’m forever grateful for realising that I wanted to improve our industry through education and to give back what I’ve experienced and learnt on my journey so far.
