Can you help us celebrate a very special 100th birthday for a former Royal Marine in Southport? 🎂🎉
Stan will be celebrating his 100th birthday on Saturday 7th March 2026 - and we’d love to make it a memorable day for him.
You can send 100th birthday cards to Stan at: Ivy Gate Lodge Care Home, 71 Scarisbrick New Road, Southport PR8 6LF.
Veterans are also invited to call in at Ivy Gate Lodge and wish Stan all the best.
Rave Lawson at Ivy Gate Lodge Care Home said: “Hi all, I work in a care home in Southport. “We have a resident turning 100 years old on the 7th March.
“We are looking to do something special in his honour and to celebrate such an achievement.
“Stan was in the Royal Marines so if anyone would be interested in coming to see Stan to talk about their experience in any of the armed forces. That would be greatly appreciated!!
“We are also doing a little project for Stan, we are aiming to send 100 birthday cards to him. “Anyone is welcome to send cards. Please inbox me via Facebook Messenger for any details at all.”
