🥄✨ Lunchtime joy at a bustling local favourite! ✨🥪
Just had the most gorgeous lunch—full of flavour, full of kindness, and totally food-optimised 💚

I went for a BLT on wholemeal and a bowl of homemade lentil dahl soup… oh WOW. Comforting, nourishing, and absolutely delicious. The staff were so helpful, happily making little tweaks to suit my needs—nothing was too much trouble.

Even bumped into a few of my lovely members while I was there! The place was buzzing, with people tucking into all sorts of delicious dishes—and that’s always a good sign, isn’t it?

If you’re nearby and fancy something tasty that fits right into your healthy habits, I can’t recommend it enough.

Huge shout-out to Churchtown Dry Cleaning Centre not only do they keep clothes looking amazing, but their tailoring & alteration service is an absolute lifesaver! 👗 Who knew?

I’ve just dropped off my Slimming World Ball dress for a little tweak ahead of the big night (yes I am super organised! 🤣)

The awards night is honestly the highlight of the Slimming World calendar for me as you can imagine so I need my dress just right🏆 and these angels 😇 have come to my rescue 🤣

Last year, I broke the mould and went rogue with my dress colour… 👀 Will I do it again this year, or return to my trademark shade?

✨ The Woman Who Dared To Dream ✨ (here is a clip of my reaction as a land! 🥹🥲🥹)

As I landed from my skydive, tears streamed down my face — not just because of the adrenaline, but because I remembered where I once was… the woman I once was. 💭💔

There was a time when I was barely existing. Life felt small, and so did my dreams. The thought of doing something like this — jumping out of a plane, feeling free, alive, unstoppable — was completely unthinkable. 🪂✨

But yesterday, I did it. Why? Because I made a choice. I dared to dream. I chose to change my story. I lost 18½ stone with Slimming World, and along the way, I found so much more than a number on the scales. I found confidence. I found joy. I found the belief that I am capable of anything. 💪🌟

And the best part? I got to use this new, strong, brave version of me to give something back. ❤️ I jumped not just for me, but for a place that means so much to our community Queenscourt Hospice Knowing that this leap was helping to raise vital funds for the incredible care they provide made every second even more meaningful. 💜 This wasn’t just about ticking a dream off my list… it was about turning that dream into hope for so many others in our local community🌈

🌟Never in a million years did I think I would, or could, do something like this!

This morning, I was cool as a cucumber, striding onto the plane full of confidence (I can’t say the same for Fiona!😉). But when we hit 7,500ft and I realised we were only halfway up… I think the roles completely reversed! 🤣

And then my amazing instructor Ben says, “Can you see that little black pointy thing?” … I squint and he goes:
“That’s Blackpool Tower!” 😳😱

Certainly not 18½ stone ago, when I felt life was passing me by, when I was just existing and living in constant pain. Back then, the idea of throwing myself out of a plane at 15,000ft would have been laughable.

But here I am. And that’s down to Slimming World and to Fiona, who gave me back my life, my confidence, and my zest for living. They helped me believe in me again – enough to not only contemplate this skydive… but actually do it!

Every second was worth it because it’s all for something so close to my heart Queenscourt Hospice. They are there for our local community, our family, friends, and members when they need it most, providing compassionate palliative care and support in the hardest of moments

A huge thank you to my amazing family, friends, and members for all your support, belief, cheers, and donations – you’ve kept me going through every stage of this journey.
