At Marina Care Home today we are celebrating Mother’s Day and the incredible women who have shaped so many lives.

Being a mother takes love and strength, and today we are taking time to recognise and appreciate the mothers and grandmothers who are part of our Marina family. Their stories, memories, and laughter bring so much warmth to our home.

For those celebrating today and for those remembering a much loved mum, we are thinking of you all.

Today we celebrate the incredible women who make Marina Care Home such a special place.

On International Women’s Day, we are proud to recognise the amazing women within our home, from the dedicated team members who bring kindness, strength and compassion to their roles every day, to the wonderful residents who have lived such inspiring lives and continue to share their stories with us.

Our residents have witnessed history, overcome challenges, raised families, built careers and shaped the world around them.

Today, we celebrate every story, every achievement and every woman who is part of our Marina community.

A trip to the hairdresser is always a lovely treat at Marina Care Home, and Jay was back working her magic again this week when she visited the home.

Residents enjoyed a relaxing pamper while catching up over plenty of chat and laughter.

A fresh haircut can make such a difference, bringing a boost of confidence and leaving everyone feeling their very best. ✂️💙💛

Residents have enjoyed sharing stories and a little indulgence as we came together to mark the occasion. 💘
