What does “feeling lighter” look like over time?
We asked BetterHelp therapist Sreela Roy-Greene, PhD, LMHC, for her perspective. ☀️
She shares that feeling lighter can often feel like quiet reminders:
“I don’t have to carry the weight of the world on my shoulders.”
“I am allowed to say no.”
“I did my best. I am doing my best.”
“I give myself permission to move forward.”
But it can also feel like recognizing and celebrating all your wins, no matter how big or small.
Remember that you are not defined by what you went through. Instead, you are shaped by how you moved through it. What you learned, what you let go of, and what you chose to keep—that’s up to you. 🌱
