💚 Happy Earth 🌍 Day 💚

🌍 Earth Day is celebrated every year on April 22.
It began in 1970 and is now marked around the world.
🌱 Over 190 countries take part in Earth Day activities each year.
🌼 The first Earth Day helped lead to important environmental protections, including the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency.
🌳 Planting trees is one of the most popular Earth Day activities. Trees help clean the air and provide homes for wildlife.
♻️ Recycling helps save energy and resources. Even small actions—like reusing bags or bottles—make a difference.
🌞 Looking after the planet also means enjoying it. A short walk outside or time in the garden can boost wellbeing.
♻️Here at Birkdale Tower We have a mixed recycling bin and make sure we put any waste that can go in into it 💚
