This may come as a surprise but I'm retiring soon. It's time. My regular clients are mostly already aware of my plans but my website and booking site will shortly be disabled as I'm winding down my therapy work at the end of April. This page will stay for health tips and the occasional info on therapy courses for practitioners. If you have any queries please do contact me. Do you have carpal tunnel pain? Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a common condition caused by compression of the median nerve in the wrist, leading to numbness, tingling, pain, and weakness in the hand and fingers, it's caused usually by repetitive strain. Crafter's and people who use their hands a lot for repetitive tasks are more likely to suffer with it. When it's really bad you might be offered surgery for it. However, you can ease the muscle tension that exacerbates the problem with a simple trigger point technique. I've found this has relieved the issue in many clients and prevented them having to have surgery.

Pretty Christmas nails but massage therapist thumbs! That arthritis is a consequence and evidence of many years sorting out other people's aches and pains!. It's why we massage therapist learn to use our forearms and elbows in massage techniques. I've been a massage therapist for 30 years now and running my own business for 23 years! That's a heck of a long time isn't it? Just think how many lovely people I've helped. Experience is so valuable in a therapist.
