Today is International Overdose Awareness Day.

In 2023 3618 people died from an overdose of an illicit drug. These are wholly preventable deaths which rob the individual of their life and families of loved ones.

Exciting news! - well, exciting if you're interested in volunteering in the drug and alcohol treatment sector in York!

An opportunity is soon to be advertised to work with our duty team at Blossom Street in York being the face and voice of CGL in the city.

You will be picking up enquiries in person and over the phone from those who've made the decision to seek our help.

A really privileged position for which we need people who want to use their time - the most valuable thing they have - to help others.
