Hanomans Optical has roots that go back to 1955 when the late Dr. Evelyn Hanoman returned from university in Ireland to open her initial office in her hometown of New Amsterdam, Berbice. In 1956 the Georgetown location was opened where the present office now stands. The mantra that Dr Hanoman started the family business with all way back in 1955 is still our guiding principle in 2021.
