Urocare Urology Network
Guyana & Trinidad

Urocare Urology Network is a network of healthcare professionals dedicated to the provision of 5current evaluation and management strategies in Adult and Pediatric Urology. We subscribe to international guidelines and best practices as outlined by agencies such as the American Urological Association and European Association of Urology. The lead physician, Dr. Brian Niles has over twenty-six years of experience in urological practice in the Midwest USA and Caribbean. Over this period, Dr. Niles has acquired tremendous expertise in several subdisciplines of urological surgery such as female urology, prosthetics, urologic oncology and pediatric urology. He has developed an international network of primarily American based urological colleagues who actively participate in the care of challenging cases. Dr. Niles was fellowship trained in endourology / minimally invasive endoscopic urology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New York, USA. Dr. Niles has published in international peer reviewed journals and texts. Upon returning to the Caribbean at the conclusion of urologic residency at Howard University Hospital, Washington, D.C., Dr. Niles witnessed the challenges in providing quality reconstructive urologic repairs for infants which led him to obtain further training from Dr. Barry Belman, then Chairman of Urology at Children’s Hospital, Washington, D.C., and a leading expert in pediatric urology. The passion for hypospadias repair surgery spurred an interest in reconstructive urethral surgery and urethral stricture surgery. Consequently, Urocare Urology Network is able to provide experienced reconstructive surgical services for a wide variety of lower urinary tract issues presenting either de novo or as referrals from other providers. The network includes physicians, experienced adult & pediatric anesthesiologists, intensivists, physiotherapists and access to trained urological nursing personnel all of whom are focused on timely intervention to help you transition to maximal recovery. Our follow-up care is second to none. We have automated our follow-up protocols to be consistent with international guidelines of care for your specific condition. Urocare Urology Network is sensitive to the needs of the communities we serve. Consequently, we are mindful to assist all regardless of their personal circumstances. We believe that quality healthcare services are a basic human right as opposed to a privilege. We encourage you to join the Urocare Urology Network for competent and compassionate care.
