As part of my collaboration with , I’m sharing the second set of health benefits associated with eating yogurt. Yogurt promotes satiety, which helps with weight management as well as helping lower the risk of chronic disease. Yogurt also contains Vitamins B2 and B12, which are important for helping the body burn energy (energy metabolism). There are so many things to love about yogurt - let me know how you’re incorporating more yogurt into your diet this January.

Don’t forget to comment below with any dairy- or yogurt-related questions, and I’ll be answering the top 5 most popular questions on Friday 24th Jan.

This January we’re all trying to embrace healthy habits. Making simple changes, like incorporating more yogurt into your daily eating routine, could make a big difference to your health in the long term.

As part of my collaboration with Killowen Farm, I’m happy to share the first set of health benefits associated with eating yogurt. Yogurt is not only a rich source of calcium, for bone and teeth health, but it’s also a good source of protein. The live cultures in yogurt help support a healthy digestive system, while the magnesium, zinc and potassium contained within yogurt also help support the body’s immune system.

If you have any dairy or yogurt-related questions you’d like me to answer, then simply comment below and I’ll be answering the top 5 questions on Friday 24th Jan.

I’m delighted to be teaming up with one of my favourite Irish brands this January – Killowen Farm, a family business based in Co. Wexford producing award-winning yogurts. I’ve been buying Killowen Farm products for a few years now and I really like how unprocessed their products are. Their natural, stirred and layered yogurts have no additives, no colourings, no flavourings, no preservatives and they’re gluten free. It’s yogurt made the traditional way, using only the simplest locally-sourced ingredients.

Yogurt has so many positive health benefits, which we’ll be sharing over the next couple of weeks as part of our collaboration, as well as sharing some simple recipes I like to make at home using yogurt.
Stay tuned over the coming days to learn more about why yogurt is such a great option for breakfast, snacking, or as a lunchbox filler for the kids.
