Ashleigh Milne qualified with a BSc (HONS) degree in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery from Glasgow Caledonian University. From gaining this extensive qualification Ashleigh is entitled to diagnose and treat all medical conditions from the pelvis (hip) area to the feet/toes. However, in addition many treatments can be carried out on the fingers and hands to correct certain ailments.
Ashleigh Milne has over 10 years post graduate experience in both the public and private sectors within Podiatry. Ashleigh worked within the NHS (Greater Glasgow area) in Scotland for a few years after qualifying which enabled her to treat and observe a number of high risk/severe cases that required extensive Podiatric care. During the same period in which she was working for the NHS. Ashleigh also helped a number of private Podiatry clinics within the Greater Glasgow area during maternity and annual leave periods. This enabled Ashleigh to gain a wide spectrum of what is required within operating in both a public and private setting as both would have very specific requirements.
In 2012 Ashleigh Milne moved to Clonmel in the Republic of Ireland to take over an established private Podiatry clinic due to the owners retirement. During the 6 year period Ashleigh has successfully operated a reputable private Podiatry clinic treating patients of all ages with an extensive range of problems and conditions.
The Clonmel Podiatry clinic is still currently running at full capacity. In 2014 Ashleigh extended her Podiatric skills and expertise and opened another private Podiatry clinic within a multidisciplinary clinic within Carlow. The equal level of care and treatment as the Clonmel Podiatry clinic is offered within the Carlow branch. No referral is necessary as all patients can attend either clinic at their own request. Ashleigh looks forward to welcoming you to either of her clinics and she shall endeavour to cater to all of your medical needs and requirements.
