The Inipi Ceremony (Native American Sweatlodge) is a sacred and ancient tradition that offers a profound and transformative healing experience. In a rustic dome that symbolizes the womb of Mother Earth, participants gather to purify their bodies and souls through a ritualistic combination of intense heat, aromatic and medicinal herbs, drumming, and spiritual chants. The rising steam from the volcanic rocks carries the medicine of the four elements: earth, wind, water, and fire. These will purify our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies. The Inipi represents a spiritual journey, a holistic healing process, and a deeply rooted cultural heritage.

In the depths of our beings, we recognise the power and wisdom that flows through our veins. Carried through centuries, these ceremonies connect us to ancestral practices that guide us toward a deeper understanding of our divine connection to the earth, the cosmos, and each other.

This sacred ceremony grants us a unique opportunity to honor and embrace the profound teachings of the Native American ways and apply the teachings to our own journey.

Our autumn equinox yoga & sleep retreat is back! ✨

The Autumn Equinox is a time of preparation as we shift our focus to the beginning of Autumn and a season filled with change, reflection and gratitude. We find an internal and external balance, much like the equator, and purposefully pause 💆🏽‍♀️

This is a unique point of transition in which the northern and southern hemispheres have a balanced exposure to light from the sun. To harness this inner balance, we can also practice alternate nostril breathing or nadi shodhana to balance the left and right hemispheres of the body.

📌 When and where?

Friday 26th to Sunday 28th in the magical grounds of Lisnavagh House.

This unique retreat is designed as a slowing down, drawing in, restorative time 🧘🏽‍♀️ We welcome yogis of all levels, from absolute beginners to those with significant experience and training. The emphasis, therefore, is on moving with awareness, breathing fully and intelligently, and practising hatha yoga in a safe and mindful way 🤸🏼‍♀️

We recommend that those with extensive experience approach this weekend as a chance to re-connect to the fundamentals of practice, while those newer to yoga will find plenty to work with.

💆🏽‍♀️ About This Retreat

🛏️ 2 night weekend stay in our beautiful House or Stables Courtyard.
🧘🏽‍♀️ Full programme & tuition
🥗 All meals and refreshments

Delicious home prepared vegan and vegetarian food is served for breakfast, lunch and dinner with colour and style. You have your own gorgeous bedroom with comfy beds to sink into for added personal space and an uninterrupted sleep!

Follow the link in our bio to book your place!

Look forward to meditation, relaxation and yoga as well as walks amongst hundreds of acres or big long siestas to bring you back to a proper and full night's sleep!

An evening of food, community & autumn magic at Lisnavagh 🍂

Last night we gathered for a tour of the Walled Garden followed by an Autumnal Feast. Surrounded by the lush late-season growth, guests sipped drinks and chatted with Andrew Jordan as he shared some of his incredible knowledge. We then shared a feast designed by chef Steve Mercer (see the mouthwatering menu!), featuring just-harvested vegetables, colourful salads, roasted roots, and locally sourced barbecued meats – a true celebration of autumn’s bounty.

Despite the cool September air, the atmosphere was warm and full of connection, good conversation, and appreciation for the land and the food it gives us ✨

We are happy to share with you that we’ll be hosting more of these seasonal gatherings in the coming months!

Our following Seasonal Feast and Walled Garden Tour will be on Thursday 20th November. Follow the link in our bio to get your tickets 💕

Thank you to everyone who joined us and a heartfelt thank you to for being part of this gathering and sharing their beautifully crafted, traditional beers with our guests. These moments remind us of why we do what we do: bringing people together to celebrate the seasons, the land, and each other 🫂

Friday mornings at the Walled Garden 🌱🐷

We’re delighted to share that starting from this Friday, from 9.30am to 12.30pm, the gates of the Lisnavagh Walled Garden will open each Friday for a weekly pop-up coffee, fruit and veg stall, celebrating the very best of what the season has to offer.

Grown organically and harvested with care, our produce reflects months of thoughtful planning and sustainable gardening by Andrew Jordan and the team. From crunchy greens to colourful root veg our stall will be full of fresh, chemical-free goodness—straight from the garden, just as nature intended.

In addition you can treat yourself with a coffee and a homemade sweet treat and settle in for a quiet moment in The Shed, or wander through the garden with a cup in hand and meet our pet pigs and chickens whilst we prepare your order to go.
