Carlow Public Participation Network - PPN

Calling all Tullow Road Residents in Carlow MD!!
We are delighted to announce that Carlow County Council, in partnership with local community groups and service providers, are inviting you as a resident from the Tullow Road community and surrounding estates to the Tullow Road Community Services Information Evening.
This free and informal event is an opportunity for residents to meet local services, learn what supports are available in the area, and make connections in a friendly and welcoming setting.

Event details:

Date: Thursday, 26th February
Time: 6.00 pm – 9.00pm
Venue: Gaelscoil, Ashgrove, Carlow (R93 PX92)

On the night, a wide range of organisations will be present, working across areas such as health and wellbeing, education, family support, community development, safety, housing, employment and more.
Information stands will be available, with staff on hand to chat, answer questions, and explain the supports and services available locally.

Help Needed locating Rushes 🌱
Carlow Cathedral Parish

Help Needed
Some of the Cathedral Parishioners will be making St Brigids Cross's during the coming weeks. We would be most greatful if anyone could supply some Rushes to help us out. The late Sr Dolores started the tradition with the Cathedral many years ago. We now find our Community is getting on in years, and are unable to go out and source the Rushes themselves. We are lucky that we have had members from the Peace and Justice in CBS to help us out in the last 3 years. They have been a great help. However, the more Rushes we have, the more Cross's can be made. All proceeds from the sale of the Cross's go to The Friends Of The District Hospital. Last year we were able to donate €400. We would like to be able to donate lots more, so please if anyone can source Rushes, leave them into the Parish Centre between 9.30 and 4pm. We also encourage people to come along and help us or learn how to make the Cross's.
