🌳The Community Roots Programme is back!🌳

📅Starting Wednesday October 29th from 11am - 4pm and continues every Thursday from 6.30pm - 8.30pm for 6 weeks.

🙋Community Roots is for young people aged 16 - 18 years that are interested in gaining skills & experience to be future leaders in the community.

🏠The programme will run from two locations - Tullow and Carlow.

Thank you to the Carlow Volunteer Centre for their very generous gift voucher awarded to the Tuesday Morning group of The Forge Hen Shed who worked on the making of ‘Thank You’ cards… Near 200 hand made cards were made for the community.. The gift is greatly appreciated and will go towards plenty more art and crafts products for future projects. Thank you 🙏🏻

🌍💚 World Mental Health Day – Friday 10th October

This World Mental Health Day, let’s remember that positive mental health starts at home. Parents play a key role in building resilience and supporting children to manage the ups and downs of everyday life.

To mark the day, NPC in conjunction with St. Patrick’s Mental Health Services is running a free online training session:

🧠 Supporting Parents to Support Their Children’s Mental Health & Wellbeing
