Founded in 1962 by Arthur Kennedy and his wife Sheila, Arthur Kennedy's Chemist has been at the heart of the Hacketstown community ever since. It has undergone and seen many changes throughout the years but the original values and ethos of accessible, affordable, and high quality healthcare have always remained the same. In 2007 Micheál Walsh acquired the Pharmacy and he, along with the fantastic staff have maintained and continued to provide the level of service and care the people of Hacketstown deserve. Now in 2022 our social media name is changing to Always There Pharmacy, but our commitment to our customers and their well being remain our top priorities. Established in 1956 by Micheal and Kitty White, Whites Pharmacy became an essential part of the Carlow community by providing professional, affordable and patient centered healthcare. Succeeded by their son Paul White and his wife Anita in 1990, the traditions of top quality customer service and personal healthcare were continued and they served the people of Carlow and their families to the highest standard up until their retirement in December 2020. Acquired by Micheal Walsh in December 2020, Whites Pharmacy continues to be synonymous with the professional and personal healthcare on which it was founded, and remains at the heart of our focus now and into the future.
