Carlow Mandala Yoga Studio is opened since 2012, Aggie Wachowska created this space to share her love of yoga and meditation with people of the Carlow community. Yoga truly means to unite, and through our friendly community we connect to our highest selves, our bodies, to each other and create a home for you to be.

This 3hr workshop is perfect for setting yourself up for the New Year and making time to reflect on 2025.

Yin yoga is a slow-paced, quiet and contemplative practice which consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses. It is designed to improve flexibility, calm the mind and body, and reduce stress, anxiety and physical tension that can be held in the connective tissues. Yin yoga is slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Since you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues, while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts and emotions.

Combining yin yoga with the journalling process elicits calm and helps your mind and body to enter into a relaxed state, therefore helping you to access insights you may not have had otherwise. The first two hours of the workshop will be a yin yoga practice, with the final hour given over to journalling, reflecting on 2025 and setting intentions for 2026.

A gentle bow to the earth, Child’s Pose is a moment of surrender and stillness. Kneeling softly on the mat, the body folds forward, forehead resting on the ground, arms extended or relaxed by the sides. Hips sink toward the heels, the spine lengthens, and the breath slows, inviting calm and introspection. This pose nurtures the body, releasing tension in the back, shoulders, and neck, while comforting the mind. In its quiet simplicity, Child’s Pose teaches the power of letting go—of stress, of control, of the world outside—and embracing the present moment with softness and acceptance.

Welcome to Carlow Mandala Yoga Studio

Carlow Mandala Yoga offers a variety of Yoga classes : strong and gentle yoga classes , workshops , Yoga Retreats and Yoga holidays abroad. Our classes and services enhance your overall health, connect you to a vibrant community and help you live a healthy happy life. We provide daily classes under professional instructions of Yoga teachers to encourage practitioners of all levels to improve their personal practice in a safe and loving surrounding.

Carlow Mandala Yoga Studio is fully equipped studio . Our spacious, second floor studio has beautiful ambient atmosphere and a warm, welcoming feel. We believe Yoga is for everyone and therefore, everyone is welcome at our studio.
