I Spent years struggling with sleep.
Lying awake at 3 or 4 a.m., frustrated, exhausted, and unable to switch my mind off. Shift work made it even worse. My body never really felt settled.
Eventually, I decided to travel down to Cork to try floating for the first time, and honestly, that experience changed something for me.
It wasn’t a magic fix overnight, but it gave my mind and body a level of rest I hadn’t felt in a long time. From there, I started making more changes, less noise, less stimulation, better habits, more recovery, more awareness of what my body actually needed.
That one float started a much bigger journey.
If your mind feels constantly “on”, if sleep feels like a battle, sometimes the best thing you can do is slow everything down and give your nervous system a chance to rest.
