From the management of Rathfredagh Cheshire home: "It is with deep regret and sadness I wish to inform you of the sad death of Ms Betty O' Riordan at home in Rathfredagh on Wednesday 19th September at 12.25pm. Betty passed away very peacefully surrounded by her loving family and her dedicated staff.
Betty has been a Service User in Rathfredagh for 39 years, and she will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
May her gentle soul Rest in Peace, Heaven has gained a new angel."
For people who want to say goodbye to Betty in Rathfredagh, they can do so from this evening (Thursday, 18/09) after 4 pm. On Friday Betty will be brought to her sister's house in Abbeyfeale. See the funeral arrangements below.
Update: Betty will be leaving Rathfredagh on Friday 19/09 around 2.30 pm.

Only a few more days until the Fete. The weather is actually going to be reasonably good on Sunday from 12 noon on. And if there is the odd rain shower, you can browse the goods in one of the marquees. :)

Only 5 more days until the Sunday of the Fete. Don't forget we also have a dog show/competition that usually starts in between 2.30 and 3 pm. There are some nice prizes to be won. All dogs are welcome.
NB: goods for the stalls can be brought in until the day of the Fete. The photos are from the 2023 dog show. You can still see photos from the 2024 Garden Fete when you scroll down.

A study showed that reading books can add two years to your life, so make sure you visit our fabulous second-hand book marquee, seen on photos from a few years back. Visiting Rathfredagh Garden Fete will not just give you a nice day out, but it will also give you the opportunity to live a few years longer when you get some books from our book marquee. There you go, you're welcome. :D

Rathfredagh staff out in Dooley's Supervalue, Newcastle West, selling lines for the Monster Draw. If you don't meet them in the shops, you can still buy lines on Sunday the 6th of July at the Rathfredagh Garden Fete. The winners will be announced at the end of the Garden Fete and will get a phone call. Great prizes to be won. :)
