Monday | Gentle Flow Yoga 19:30 (5-class block, 8 Jun – 6 Jul)
Tuesday | Energy Flow Yoga 19:00 (4-class block, 2–23 Jun)
Wednesday | Pilates 19:00 (4-class block, 3–24 Jun)
Thursday | Men's Pilates 20:00 (4-class block, 4–25 Jun)

Sleep & Recovery Simplified

Lying in the wrong position all night does not automatically cause your back pain.

Your body handles load well β€” what it struggles with is the same load, every night, without enough movement or recovery to balance it out.

Factors influencing sleep-related pain include:

β€’ Time spent in one position
β€’ Mattress support and body weight distribution
β€’ Hip and shoulder mobility
β€’ How you move when you first wake up

Common pattern:

β€’ Pain on waking
β€’ Blame the mattress
β€’ Buy a new one
β€’ Pain returns within weeks

A new mattress does not fix a movement problem.

Understanding why your body is stiff in the morning is where the real answer lives.

Sleep is where your body repairs.

People blame their posture. But the real problem is the lack of movement.

Your body isn't designed to stay still. It's designed to move often, in different directions, throughout the day.

Get up every 45–60 minutes. Walk. Rotate. Decompress. That's not a luxury β€” that's basic maintenance.

The body is designed to move. When held in any fixed position for extended periods, tissues compress, circulation slows, and muscles lose their normal capacity to load.

Common pattern:
β€’ Stiffness builds through the day
β€’ Pain eases briefly with movement, then returns
β€’ Discomfort becomes the baseline
β€’ Rest stops providing recovery

The issue is rarely the chair β€” it's the absence of movement across the day.

Managing load effectively focuses on:
β€’ Regular movement breaks every 45–60 minutes
β€’ Progressive strengthening of key postural muscles
β€’ Identifying where load is accumulating
β€’ Structured rehabilitation when symptoms persist

Posture can be corrected. Sedentary load requires a different approach.
Addressing how you move β€” not just how you sit β€” is where lasting change begins.
