🦟【5件目の特許を取得】

蚊繁殖抑制装置、蚊繁殖抑制システムおよび蚊繁殖抑制方法に関する特許を取得しました。

今回特許を取得したのは蚊の繁殖を抑制するカプセルで、カプセルの水溶性素材が水で破れて中に水が入ると発泡剤が発泡してカプセルを押し出すことにより中の油が水たまりの水面に拡散してボウフラを窒息させるという技術です。

当社では、このカプセルをLSM（Larval Source Management：蚊の幼虫であるボウフラが発生する水たまりや湿地を管理・除去する対策）に活用することを想定しています。

特に、マラリア媒介蚊が増加する雨季の前の乾季にカプセルを散布しておくことで、雨季の初期段階から効果を発揮し、マラリアの発生を抑制できると期待しています。

ノーザン州およびアッパーイースト州を訪問し、農業分野におけるドローン技術の活用可能性について現地調査を実施しました。
現地の農家の方々との意見交換を通じて、大規模農業における農薬散布ドローンの導入可能性や、地域の農業課題について理解を深めました。
SORA Technologyは、テクノロジーの力を通じて持続可能な農業の実現と地域農業の発展に貢献していきます。

An artwork created by SORA Technology team members Nishioka, Suzuki, and Umeda has won 1st Place at the VCWG Art Competition 2026 organized by the Swiss-based international partnership RBM Partnership to End Malaria.

This work is inspired by the biological violence of malaria — a disease carried by a tiny vector yet expressed through blood.

The red stroke symbolizes invasion, fever, and the fragility of the human body, while also suggesting interruption: the possibility that vector control can halt transmission before unseen damage unfolds.

The textured background reflects environmental instability and structural constraints in malaria-endemic regions.

Rather than depicting mosquitoes or technologies directly, the piece explores the tension between human vulnerability and the systems that protect it.

SORA Technologyのメンバー、西岡・鈴木・梅田の3名で制作したアート作品が、スイスの国際機関「RBM Partnership to End Malaria」が主催する「VCWG Art Competition 2026」で最優秀賞（1st Place）を受賞しました。

この作品は、マラリアという病気が持つ「生物学的な暴力性」から着想を得ています。マラリアは小さな媒介生物によって運ばれますが、その影響は血液という身体の根源的な部分に刻まれます。

作品に描かれた赤いストロークは、感染の侵入や発熱、身体の脆さを象徴すると同時に、ベクターコントロールによって感染の連鎖を断ち切る可能性も表しています。

また背景のテクスチャは、マラリア流行地域における環境的不安定さや社会構造的な制約を表現しています。

蚊や技術そのものを描くのではなく、「人間の脆弱性」と「それを守ろうとする力」の緊張関係を表現した作品です。

SORA Technologyは、2026年3月3日～5日にケニア・ナイロビで開催された「第21回 Rolling Back Malaria（RBM） Partnership to End Malaria 年次ワークショップ」にスポンサーとして参加しました。

ワークショップでは、当社Chief Mosquito Officer（CMO）の山口昌宏がVector Control Working Group（VCWG）のパネルディスカッションに登壇しました。

山口は、ドローンとAIを活用したSORA TechnologyのLSM（Larval Source Management）アプローチについて紹介し、ガーナでの実証に基づく費用対効果に関するエビデンスを共有しました。また、テクノロジーを活用したボウフラ対策を導入する際には、CLEARフレームワークを活用したサーベイランスおよびモニタリング（M&E）を組み込む重要性についても提言しました。

農地の正確な面積測定、作物の生育評価、
土壌分析や水害リスクの可視化を行います。

これは、ティコンコ首長領では初めての取り組みです。
農家の声とともに、持続可能な農業の未来をつくっていきます。

In Tikonko Chiefdom, Sierra Leone,
SORA Technology conducted a drone-based agricultural survey
together with local farmers.

Using high-resolution drone mapping,
we measured farmland size, assessed crop growth,
and analyzed soil conditions and water-logging risks.

This is the first initiative of its kind in Tikonko Chiefdom.
Together with farmers, we are building a more sustainable future for agriculture.
