Doing tongue training the wrong way can actually make your face sag more.

If you move your jaw too much, rotate too fast,
or don’t really feel it in your tongue or around your mouth,
you may be doing it wrong.

And if you do it too forcefully,
you can overstretch the area under the nose
and make sagging worse.

So even if you’re trying hard,
it may not be helping at all.

The key is:
✔️ move slowly and carefully
✔️ keep your jaw relaxed
✔️ keep the tongue muscles active
✔️ follow the correct reps and timing

If your tongue loses tension,
you’re not training it properly.

Done correctly, tongue training can be very effective.
Done carelessly, it can do the opposite.

Doing facial exercises the wrong way can actually make your face sag more.

When you move your mouth or eyes,
are you pulling the skin tightly and forcing the movement?

That approach can sometimes have the opposite effect.

When exercises are done with too much force:
✔️ your jaw starts moving together with the lips
✔️ facial asymmetry can increase
✔️ wrinkles can become deeper over time

The key is not strength.
It’s muscle control.

To improve the mouth area,
slow and precise movements are essential.

For example:
• gently push your lips slightly forward and hold the shape
• support the area around your mouth with your fingers and move your lips slowly sideways

At the same time:
keep your jaw relaxed
and avoid creating extra wrinkles during the movement.

When done correctly,
your mouth corners lift more easily
and the lower face starts to look smoother and more defined.

Many people try to “work harder” with facial exercises —
but that often creates unnecessary tension.

What really matters is learning the correct way to move your facial muscles.
