Fear is the number one reason why people don't reach their goals and remain in comfort, while little to no energy is invested in growth.

Let's have a look at the progression towards growth:

1. Comfort The comfort zone is a place where you feelcomfy, cozy and safe. This is usually a place associated with sensory pleasure and no specific actions towards growth.

2. Fear When you go beyond the comfort zone, you jump into the unknown, where fears may arise. Those are usually associated with excuses, lack of confidence, and limiting beliefs.

3. Learning Past the fear is the learning
zone, where you endure challenges, expand your skillset and extend your comfort zone.
Comfort is achieved in an environment that would usually induce fear.

4. Growth When you start actually growing, efforts don't seem fruitless, and doubt and fear don't take over. This is a zone associated with your higher purpose, goals, and dreams.

What is your take on fear and doubtfulness?

Throwback Thursday.

Throwback Thursday is a time to remember the good memories and cherish the bad ones.

And then again, many people find it difficult to let go of the past. But how do you really get into a state where you can erase the continuous impact of a toxic past?

Here are 4 tips!

1. Understand Negative emotions flow easily because they are automatic so in order to remove them, you have to understand the root cause and why they exist in the first place.

2. Chant! Affirmations and mantras are viable tools for changing subconscious emotional and thought patterns. Come up with a mantra and repeat it to yourself every day.

3. Accept Oftentimes, a hurtful past depends on factors outside of you, so accept that other people may never apologize or change. You are the change you need.

4. Self-care We are the product of our environment, so fill it with better things
and practice self-care.

These are the 4 most important aspects of letting go of the past and focusing your attention and energy on a productive present.

!

Tuesday is just at the start of the week, so this is the perfect time to pay more attention to your brain, early on during the week when you still have plenty of energy.

Here are 6 ideas for a brain exercise routine:

1. Catch yourself at moments of multitasking and cut it short - Focus your attention on the task at hand

2. Try something new, whether it's
rollerskating, playing the guitar, or doing what you're already doing in a different way.

3. Read/study for 20 minutes a day - We all have those areas we're highly interested in but never get to learn, so put in a little time, but consistently and the knowledge will stack up.

4. Say or feel something positive about yourself - You're better than you think you are!

5. Fill crosswords or do puzzles for 20 mins a day 6. Listen to classical or other soothing music to relax your brain at the end of the day.

What are other brain exercises you would suggest?
