Ngayong araw na ang simula ng pagsusuot ng face mask sa lahat ng indoor areas sa Tuguegarao. Ito'y matapos ipinag-utos ito ni City Mayor Maila Ting-Que nitong Lunes na ibalik ito para maibaba ang pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa lungsod.

Aniya magtatagal ito hanggang sa Hunyo 21 at posibleng madagdagan pa depende sa magiging datos ng City Health Office.

KASO NG COVID-19 SA CAGAYAN, TUMATAAS AYON SA PHO; PAGGAMIT NG FACE MASK SA MGA INDOOR AREA, PINAG-IISIPANG IBALIK

Inihayag ni Dr. Carlos Cortina III, Provincial Health Officer ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Cagayan na pinag-iisipan nila ni Governor Manuel Mamba na ibalik ang pagsusuot ng face mask sa mga indoor area dahil sa pagtaas ngayon ng COVID-19 cases sa Cagayan.

Ayon pa sa Health Officer na closed indoor lamang ang dapat na gumamit ng face mask dahil ang Cagayan aniya ay nasa alert level 1 status ng COVID-19 sa buong bansa. Ang planong ito umano ay para maagapan ang pagtaas pa ng mga matatamaan ng virus.

“Huwag natin dapat kalimutan ang minimum public health standard o ang pagsusuot ng facemask, social distancing at paghugas ng kamay o gumamit ng alcohol lalo na sa mga lugar na walang ventilation tulad ng mga sasakyan, department store o mga closed area,” saad niya.

Sa pinakahuling datos ng Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU) kahapon, April-26 ay may kabuuang 22 active cases sa Cagayan.

Pinakamarami dito ang Tuguegarao City na nakapagtala ng 12 cases, tatlo (3) sa Gonzaga, tig-dalawang (2) kaso sa Lal-lo at Peñablanca, at tig-isang (1) positibo sa Aparri, Baggao, at Solana.

Base rin sa datos, karamihan sa mga nagpositibo sa sakit ay dahil sa close contact at medical nature. (Susan L. Mapa)
