Wonderful to have our Patron, ex-President Mdm Halimah Yacob, as the Guest of Honour at our 19th Finisher Awards last night.

To all the recipients, congratulations!

Was at the We Care 19th Finisher Awards last night to recognise 30 recovering addicts who have managed to keep clean for 1 to 10 years. I heard the heartfelt testimonies of many recovering addicts and a few family members and friends. It was heartwarming. A recurrent point was how they started and kept on the recovery process because of the loving and strong support of their families, their faith and hope. And how We Care supported them through the many milestones, as recovery requires professional help and a safe space to get guidance and counselling for the addicts and their families too. We often forget that behind every case of addiction are sad stories of disrupted families, neglected children and a loss to society. We Care was set up to help them. Good work We Care. Please support their mission.
