The physio team headed to for our first ever session to experience what dancers put their bodies through every day! Huge thank you to our lovely client for being the best teacher and torturing us (as a revenge for screaming weekly during physio sessions hahahaha) — safe to say, pole dancing is DEFINITELY not for the weak 😮‍💨

Meet Ms Jewel Wee, our Senior Physiotherapist at Rapha Physiotherapy! With extensive experience in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic inpatient rehabilitation, Jewel specialises in managing a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions, sports injuries, chronic pain, and geriatric syndromes. She also holds a Master’s in Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) from Australia, where she further refined her skills to deliver highly effective, evidence-based care.

Jewel is also a certified Reformer and Mat Pilates instructor! Her passion for Pilates began when she attended classes herself and discovered how versatile and beneficial the practice is for people of all ages and fitness levels. Now, she hopes to share that same joy and confidence in movement with others.

Outside the clinic, Jewel enjoys spending time outdoors as much as she enjoys strength training in the gym. This active lifestyle fuels her commitment to helping people feel better, move better, and return to the activities they love—pain-free.

Every athlete has their highs and lows — and it’s in those low moments that true resilience is built.

I’ve had the privilege of walking this recovery journey with Francis, watching him push through setbacks and come back even stronger. Seeing him cross the finish line in record time at the recent Nike Melbourne Marathon recently was nothing short of inspiring. 🏅
