Anemia is one of the toughest battles cats with Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) can face. These viruses can damage the bone marrow and stop the body from making enough healthy red blood cells. Without enough oxygen in their system, a cat’s organs can’t work properly—and sadly, if left untreated, this can be fatal. 💔

But here’s the truth: FeLV and FIV are NOT death sentences. With early testing, proper care, and antivirals treatment, many cats go on to live happy, love-filled lives. 🐾

We’d love to hear your stories—have you helped a cat fight anemia, FeLV, or FIV? Your journey might give another pet parent the hope they need.

Let’s keep spreading awareness and fighting for our little warriors, one day at a time.

Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) is more than just an infection that weakens your cat’s immune system. This virus carries special genes that can interfere with your cat’s normal cell DNA.

When FeLV inserts its genetic material into a cell, it can activate or damage certain genes that control cell growth. These altered genes known as oncogenes can make cells grow uncontrollably, eventually leading to cancers &
tumors.
Don’t let the virus stay too long in the body- it needs to be halted early.

That’s why FeLV isn’t only linked to blood-related diseases like anemia, but also to certain cancers, including lymphoma. This dangerous process is called oncogenesis ; literally, the “creation of cancer.”

How to protect your cat:
✅ Regular FeLV screening
✅ Keep FeLV-positive cats indoors to prevent spread
✅ Vaccination for FeLV-negative cats
✅ Supportive care & antiviral options like Retromad1 when diagnosed
✅ Full blood tests to track disease progression once infected
✅ Monitor for unusual signs if your cat is positive FeLV — such as abnormal abscesses, lumps, or unexplained bleeding from the nose or other areas

*Why IV Fluids Matter for Sick Pets*

When pets become critically ill — whether due to anemia, FeLV, FIP, parvovirus, or during post-surgical recovery — IV fluid therapy plays a vital, life-saving role.

While treatments like blood transfusions are essential for anemia, IV fluids are equally important in:
✅ Supporting circulation
✅ Delivering nutrients and medications
✅ Stabilizing blood pressure
✅ Preventing organ failure

In cases like parvovirus, where vomiting and diarrhea cause rapid fluid loss, IV fluids help restore hydration and maintain internal balance — giving the body a fighting chance to recover.

Each type of IV fluid has its own specific function — from rehydrating to correcting electrolyte imbalances or managing shock. Your veterinarian will choose the most suitable option based on your pet’s condition.

If your pet shows signs of weakness, dehydration, or severe illness, don’t delay. Timely IV support can mean the difference between life and loss.

🌍 Today we would like to share another wonderful testimonial from a Retromad1 user, in hopes that by sharing this, we can help with FeLV cases around the world. 🐾💚

Meet Money, a beautiful cat who tested positive for FeLV in December 2024.

Here’s the honest review we received from Money’s mom:

“My cat tested positive in December 2024, and my vet advised me to give him Retromad1—even though research is still limited and most success stories come from small-scale case studies.

But I was willing to give it a try, because there aren’t many good options for FeLV.

My vet also informed me that my cat might be in the early stages of the virus—he only had one episode of diarrhea and fever during the past 85 days.

I followed the advice, gave him Retromad1, and kept hoping.

After 85 days, I went back to the clinic—and the test result came back NEGATIVE.

Now, I’m planning to continue giving him Retromad1 as a supplement to maintain his health and immunity.”

Money’s journey is a story of hope, early action, and not giving up.

💡 Starting treatment early can lead to better outcomes and helps prevent long-term damage to your cat’s organs if exposed to viruses like FeLV.

If your cat has been diagnosed with FeLV or is at risk, don’t wait. Speak to your vet, explore your options, and ask about Retromad1.

✅ Act early. Give them a fighting chance.

🐯 Tiger’s Incredible Survival Story – A True Fighter! 🐯

Meet Tiger, a brave survivor with an inspiring story of resilience. Born to a stray cat, Tiger faced his first life-threatening battle at just six months old when he was struck by parvovirus. Without vaccination, the infection quickly spread among 20 cats. Desperate to control the outbreak, his mom decided to try Retromad1. With Retromad1 and other supportive care, Tiger and his friends fought through and survived.

Fast forward to today—at over a year old, Tiger faced yet another challenge. This time, he suffered from a severe flu, experiencing high fever, sneezing, red-tinged eye discharge, and thick mucus with traces of blood, accompanied by persistent coughing. Despite being on antibiotics, his condition only improved slightly. Seeing this, his mom decided to administer Retromad1 via subcutaneous injection alongside antibiotics. Within just a few days, Tiger and his gang made a remarkable recovery!

A huge thank you to Tiger’s mom for sharing this journey with us. We’re happy to hear that Retromad1 once again played a vital role in their recovery. Severe flu can often indicate an upper respiratory infection caused by feline herpesvirus (FHV-1) or calicivirus, both of which can cause bloody nasal discharge and red-tinged eye discharge. Retromad1 has been tested and proven effective against these viral infections.

💡 Important Reminder:
When treating viral infections, make sure to properly sanitize cages, toys, and the environment to prevent reinfection. Isolate sick cats from healthy ones. Since these viruses can survive in the surroundings for a long time, there is a risk of reinfection if the area is not properly sanitized.

🐾 Swipe to see Tiger now—healthy, strong, and more handsome than ever! 💪✨

Socksy's Journey: How Retromad1 Helped Her Fight Feline Leukemia (FeLV)

🐾 Today, we’re excited to share an inspiring story from Ms. Ann Wong, a dedicated cat rescuer who has saved hundreds of cats. This is the story of Socksy, a brave cat who battled Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) with the help of Retromad1—the revolutionary antiviral treatment for cats. 🐾

"Socksy was heavily pregnant when I first met her near my vet’s clinic. Seeing her condition, I told her to wait outside if she wanted to come home with me—and she did. That very night, Socksy went into labor and delivered her kittens.

The next day, she began hyperventilating and struggled to breathe. Her breathing was short and labored, as if she were gasping for air. I rushed her to the vet, where she was diagnosed with end-stage FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). The news was heartbreaking, as it happened so suddenly. After discussing her condition with the vet, we decided to start her on Retromad1, an advanced antiviral treatment known for helping cats with FeLV, FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), and other viral infections. Having already used Retromad1 for FIV cats, I believed in its effectiveness as a last hope.

I began administering three doses a day, though I tried not to get my hopes up because Socksy looked so unwell. But the next day, she got up and walked! My heart leapt with joy! I told her, "Mommy’s giving you the best she can—Retromad1. You need to fight so you can stay with your kittens. You deserve a good life after everything you’ve been through as a stray."

That was in June 2024, when we received the devastating FeLV diagnosis. Now, eight months later, in February 2025, we are beyond grateful for what Retromad1 has done for Socksy. She is still with us, thriving and healthy. In fact, she has gained a lot of weight! Since then, I’ve also used Retromad1 to support my other cats—not only for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) but also as an immune booster and to help cats with FIV.

We are forever thankful for this life-saving antiviral treatment for cats. 🐾🐱💖"

👉 If your cat has been diagnosed with FeLV or FIV, consider Retromad1. Give your cat a fighting chance!
