Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for our “Ties that Bind” Charity Dinner last Friday, 27 March! 🥂✨

It was an evening of celebration and connection, and we are overwhelmed by the support. Each one of you—our donors, supporters, and volunteers—is like a thread in a tapestry. On your own, you are strong, but together, you bind our community into a beautiful fabric that supports our 400+ residents.

Because of your generosity, we are steps closer to our S$300,000 fundraising goal to renovate our aging facilities and provide dignified care for our seniors.

Also a special thank you to our Guest of Honour, MOS Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash .vasudash .vasudash and our special guest Mr Daniel Liu Daniel Liu - 刘克元 for gracing the event and championing our cause.

Last Saturday, our finalists and ERM Queens visited the Society of the Aged Sick Nursing Home to celebrate Chinese New Year with the residents.

While the festive season was still in the air, we brought along plenty of goodies, songs, dances, a lively lion dance, and even lao sheng filling the home with laughter, warmth, and joyful CNY vibes. 🧧🦁 Society for the Aged Sick

But beyond the performances and celebrations, it was about connection. About sitting beside them, holding their hands, listening to their stories, and making them feel remembered and loved.

This year, our finalists will also be stepping forward to help raise funds in support of the residents and their ongoing care. ❤️
Because true beauty is not just about how we shine on stage…
It’s about the love we give, the compassion we show, and the lives we touch.

Today, on top of Valentine's Day, we are also celebrating SAS' 58th Anniversary! SAS lives on as a legacy of our founder, Ms Teresa Hsu, whose life shone through her lifelong passion of serving those in need.

58 years since the inception of SAS, we continue her mission to provide quality care to the aged sick and destitute. She would have been 128 years old today.

We invite you to our Charity Dinner Gala this March, where we are raising funds for the 400 residents currently under our care.

About Our Residents:
- Most of our residents come from low-income families or have experienced the loss of family support.
- They require round-the-clock nursing care due to various medical conditions.

Your participation in our gala is a meaningful way to show your support and make a difference in the lives of those we serve!

This Lunar New Year, lend a helping hand to our residents in need by giving an angbao.

At Society for the Aged Sick (SAS), our 400 residents mostly come from low-income families or have no family at all. Requiring 24/7 nursing and medical care can be costly. With your help, we can alleviate some of these costs for them.

Your donation will make a difference to their lives.

All donations $10 and above are eligible for tax deduction.
