In the spirit of mutual support and cooperation, AMSA Singapore aims to encourage and foster collaboration amongst the three local medical schools (NUS YLLSoM, NTU LKCSoM, Duke-NUS), with the goal of providing the best experience for all medical students in Singapore. We also aim to train the young medical students of today to become better leaders and pioneers of tomorrow by exposing them to a myriad of local and international opportunities.

⚕ Asian Medical Students’ Exchange Programme (AMSEP) Singapore 🇸🇬 x Turkey 🇹🇷

Applications are OPEN for the Asian Medical Students’ Exchange Programme (AMSEP) Exchanges 24/25. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to enjoy your summer break and make great international friendships this is your opportunity!

🏫 Eligible Medical Schools: YLLSoM, LKCSoM, Duke-NUS

🗓 Dates (tentative):
The dates stated below are tentative but it will be either during or around those dates. It will be a 8-day exchange subjected to changes in itinerary and plane ticket prices.

SG → Turkey: 17 June - 24 June
Turkey → SG: 2 July - 9 July

💰 Cost of exchange (excluding airfare): ~SGD 450 (only covers accommodations, breakfast and lunch, more details in FAQ linked below)

The job scope of the delegates would include:
1. Planning academic and cultural activities for the delegates.
2. Hosting exchange students from Turkey
3. Attend at least 80% of the exchange to be given an official certificate from AMSA.

** Please note that you need to be free for the ENTIRE duration indicated for the exchange(s) you sign up for.

Interviews will be conducted over zoom in the case of an oversubscription.
