If you want to incorporate this into your healthy daily habits, carve out time each day when you're screen-free. For better sleep, maybe make that the last hour before bed.

We understand that smoking is one of the hardest daily habits to ditch, but long story short, if you want to live a longer, healthier life, you need to try and kick the habit. As you're figuring out how to be healthier, don't turn to va**ng. It might be less harmful, but it's just as addictive and still comes with health risks.

No matter which pillowcase you choose, follow these tips to keep your pillowcase clean and your skin as clear as possible. Wash your pillowcase often. Washing or changing your cotton pillowcases every two or three days and silk pillowcases every week is a good rule of thumb.

Be sure however to change them once a week at the very least, but if you have acne-prone or sensitive skin, once every other night may be an even better idea, ensuring you have a clean sleeping surface.

Don't share makeup, makeup brushes, or makeup applicators.� Even if you use only non-comedogenic products, sharing makeup can lead to blemishes.

Acne isn’t contagious, but when you share makeup, makeup brushes, or applicators, the acne-causing bacteria, oil, and dead skin cells on other people’s skin can wind up in your makeup. When you use that makeup, you can transfer their bacteria, oil, and dead skin cells to your skin. These can clog your pores, leading to breakouts.
