We are honoured to have concluded our first-ever Conduction System Pacing (CSP) Workshop in Singapore on 5 August 2025, hosted at Changi General Hospital and featuring Boston Scientific’s SSPC tools.

Led by esteemed instructors A/Prof Vern Hsen Tan and A/Prof Colin Yeo, the programme delivered both clinical depth and practical value — combining theoretical sessions with three live implant cases, as well as wet and dry lab simulations for hands-on learning.

We were also pleased to welcome regional key opinion leaders from Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia, reflecting our shared commitment to elevating CSP standards across Southeast Asia.

Leading the way in orthopaedic innovation, the Transmedic Orthopaedic team in Indonesia was honoured to be the Platinum Sponsor of the Orthopaedic Concurrent Meeting (OCM) 2025, held from 16–19 July at the Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta.

Bringing together three subspecialties — IOSSA (Spine), IOTS (Trauma) and IOPIS (Pain Intervention) — OCM provided the perfect platform for us to showcase an integrated portfolio of spine and trauma solutions from DePuy Synthes, Biocomposite, TeDan, Centinel Spine, Silony Medical, and Sanyou Medical.

Transmedic Philippines proudly organised the periOperative Registered Nurses Association of the Philippines (ORNAP) Symposium 2025 on 5 July at Manila Ocean Park, bringing together over 40 healthcare professionals for a full day of connection, innovation, and hands-on learning in surgical care.

This annual perioperative engagement reaffirms our commitment to supporting surgical teams and advancing the future of Operating Room (OR) care in the Philippines.

The session featured a keynote by Mr Reuben Froude (Stryker), who shared how integrated OR solutions can streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and enhance patient outcomes. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore live demonstrations of equipment from Serres, Nitrocare, and Stryker, offering practical insight into technologies shaping today’s surgical environment.

We are proud to bring Teleon to Vietnam — introducing the LENTIS Family of IOLs to local surgeons in Hanoi Vietnam.

On 4 July 2025, Transmedic hosted the official launch event for Teleon in Vietnam at Novotel Hanoi, introducing the LENTIS Family of intraocular lenses (IOLs) to over 70 ophthalmologists.

The event featured expert presentations from:

• Assoc. Prof. Phạm Ngọc Đồng – Director, Viet Nam Eye Hospital
• Assoc. Prof. Nguyễn Đình Ngân – Deputy Director, 103 Military Hospital
• Dr. Aloysius Low – Medical Director, VISTA Eye Specialist (Malaysia)

Together, they shared key perspectives on refractive lens technology, sparking rich discussions on advancing cataract outcomes.

Our Transmedic Ophthalmology team, alongside Malaysian KOLs, visited key institutions including Sai Gon Eye Chain, Sai Gon Hanoi Eye Hospital, and D**g Do Eye Center — strengthening clinical partnerships and supporting the rollout of Teleon IOLs in Vietnam.

As one of the sponsors of the Section of Uro-Oncology Forum (Uro-SURF) 2025, held on 21–22 June 2025 — a biennial event jointly organised by the Malaysian Urological Association and the Malaysian Oncological Society — Transmedic was honoured to help facilitate knowledge-sharing and foster connections with specialists dedicated to advancing uro-oncology care.

We were pleased to invite and welcome esteemed speakers, including Assoc. Professor Dr. Peter Ka-Fung Chiu, Consultant Urologist at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK); Dr. NikMuhd Aslan Bin Abdullah, Consultant Oncologist; and Clin. Prof. Dr. Guan Hee TAN, Consultant Urologist at Sunway Medical Centre.

Their presentations sparked meaningful discussions on the multidisciplinary approach for treating urologic cancers and highlighted the advancing role of innovative technologies KOELIS, Teleflex, Naslund Medical — such as Targeted Microwave Ablation (TMA) Focal Therapy, the Barrigel Prostate Spacer, and the use of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) in enhancing ultrasound fusion biopsy.
