Leadership in healthcare is not always about introducing something new. Often, it is about helping clinicians see existing options more clearly.

At the 18th Asia-Pacific Vitreo-Retina Society Congress, held with the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Congress, our Transmedic Ophthalmology team participated as a Venti Sponsor, engaging surgeons in thoughtful, experience-led conversations across the ophthalmic spectrum.

Discussions around Teleon IOLs, STAAR ICL, iStent Infinite, Ahmed Glaucoma Valves, Healaflow, and hands-on exploration through our Dry Eye Suite reflected a shared priority: making informed choices that serve patients over the long term.

Last month, Transmedic Thailand hosted a Y90 Dosimetry Masterclass in office, creating a focused space for clinicians to explore the practical considerations of Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT). Over two days, discussions moved from patient selection and evolving clinical insights to real-world case examples, complemented by hands-on planning using MIM SurePlan LiverY90.

By bringing together clinical perspectives and application expertise, the sessions became a meaningful exchange of shared learning. They highlighted how thoughtful dosimetry planning can support greater confidence in treatment decisions and ultimately influence patient outcomes.

2025 has been a year defined by focus, collaboration, and care. Across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong, our teams have continued to support healthcare professionals, partners, and patients by connecting the world’s leading healthcare solutions with the needs of our people—delivering safe, high-quality care with consistency and purpose in an evolving healthcare environment.

We thank Kristine James for her leadership and contributions over the past 2.5 years at Transmedic and wish her every success as she commences the next chapter of her journey with the wider EBOS MedTech group of companies in Sydney, Australia.

The Philippine Urologic Association’s Global Urologic Summit convened urologists, surgeons, and healthcare leaders from across the Philippines at the Grand Hyatt Manila, creating a platform to examine how urologic care continues to evolve through precision, innovation, and patient-centred outcomes.

On 22 November 2025, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Transmedic Philippines took an important step forward with the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement at the DSWD Auditorium, marking a new partnership under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) programme.

Through this collaboration, the Transmedic Orthopaedics team will support access to essential orthopaedic implants and orthobiologics for patients in urgent need. By bringing healthcare solutions and social welfare closer together, the partnership strengthens the ability to respond swiftly and meaningfully to individuals and families facing unexpected medical crises.

The 33rd ATCSA Annual Congress convened thoracic and cardiovascular specialists from across Asia at the Makati Shangri-La, reinforcing the value of collective expertise in elevating surgical standards.

As one of the sponsors, Transmedic Philippines was proud to support this year’s congress and contribute to an environment that encouraged meaningful clinical exchange. RCOPT 2025 brought together the region’s ophthalmic community, and we were privileged to be part of the conversations shaping the future of eye care.

As exhibitors, our Transmedic Thailand Ophthalmology team engaged closely with clinicians throughout the three-day event—exchanging insights and showcasing TELEON Premium IOLs, glaucoma innovations such as the Ahmed Glaucoma Valve by New World Medical and Healaflow, and the increasing importance of comprehensive dry eye evaluation with the IDRA by SBM Sistemi.

We were also excited to introduce the new CFX Linker, which sparked forward-looking discussions on the emerging potential of corneal cross-linking and how it may support future therapeutic pathways in Thailand.

From legacy to leadership — orthopaedics in the Philippines enters a new chapter as we step forward as one.

Transmedic Philippines – Orthopaedic Division proudly emerges from the legacy of Pacific Surgical, joining our established orthopaedics network across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Hong Kong as the newest pillar of Transmedic Orthopaedics.

With comprehensive solutions across Spine, Joints, Capital Equipment, Sports Medicine, and Biologics, we continue our mission to empower Filipino clinicians with innovative technologies and meaningful educational programs.

As Thailand observes National Day on 5 December, Transmedic Thailand take this moment to honour the birthday and enduring legacy of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. It is a meaningful day of reflection and appreciation for the contributions that have shaped the country.

In observance of this important national holiday, our Thailand office will be closed on Friday, 5 December, and will resume normal operations on Monday, 8 December.

The Urology Siriraj Annual Meeting (USAM) 2025 presented a meaningful platform for Transmedic to deepen engagement with Thailand’s urology community and elevate the conversation around targeted prostate cancer therapy. Held at Siriraj Hospital — one of Thailand’s most influential teaching and referral hospitals — the two-day scientific meeting brought together regional leaders, clinician innovators, and researchers to advance clinical insights in prostate cancer management.

A key highlight for us was organising a dedicated workshop featuring Koelis Targeted Microwave Ablation (TMA) and the Barrigel re**al spacer — two advanced medical technologies that are igniting growing interest, confidence, and clinical adoption in precision-driven focal therapy.

In partnership with Koelis, we also initiated plans to establish ASEAN’s first TMA Training and Reference Centre at Siriraj Hospital, marking a significant milestone in developing a structured regional hub for clinical training, peer learning, and expertise exchange in focal therapy.

We remain committed to collaborating with healthcare institutions and medical professionals to strengthen training pathways, drive technology adoption, and support the advancement of urologic care across Thailand and the wider region.

The INASCRS INDEPTH Meeting 2025 marked an exciting milestone for our Transmedic Ophthalmology Team as we continue to strengthen our presence and partnerships within Indonesia’s fast-growing ophthalmology sector. Held on November 7–8 at the Pullman Hotel Central Park Jakarta, the event brought together leading clinicians, innovators, and industry partners united by a shared commitment to advancing cataract and refractive surgery.
