Studies have shown that gum bacteria don’t just stay in the mouth — they can enter your bloodstream and even reach your unborn baby. This can trigger inflammation in the body, which is why keeping your gums healthy during pregnancy is so important.

It’s not just about brushing twice a day — your diet, sleep, and even breathing habits (like sleeping with your mouth open!) all play a part. A dry mouth can cause bad bacteria to grow, while good bacteria — and probiotics — help protect both you and your baby. 💞

Did you know… your waterbag is actually made of baby’s p*e? 😮💧

That’s right — the amniotic fluid surrounding your baby is mostly urine produced by your little one!

It sounds surprising, but it’s a sign of *good health*. A well-hydrated baby with strong blood flow will p*e regularly, keeping the waterbag full and cushioning them nicely. 🍼

✨ Here’s what’s fascinating:

- Baby’s p*e is *sterile* — no bacteria at all.
- But once the waterbag breaks, it connects with the vaginal area (which naturally has bacteria).
- If it stays open for too long (more than 12 hours), infection can set in — something called *chorioamnionitis*.

So if your waterbag leaks or bursts, don’t panic — but don’t wait too long either. ⏰

Get it checked right away to keep both you and baby safe. 💕

Pacifier or no pacifier? 🤔 Let’s talk about it.

Pacifiers can be soothing — but did you know they also affect how your child’s tongue and jaw develop?

When the tongue rests on the roof of the mouth, it helps shape a strong, healthy jawline (and even improves sleep!).

But frequent pacifier use can shift the tongue’s position and affect how the jaw grows over time.

✨ Here’s the balance:
Occasional pacifier use? Fine.
Extended use beyond 12 months? Best to wean off early.

If you must use one, choose an orthodontic pacifier that supports better tongue posture.

Healthy jaws, better sleep, and happier little smiles — that’s what we love to see. 💕

**“Is this labour… or just baby playing tricks on me?” 🤰🏻💭**

Sometimes your belly tightens or feels uncomfortable — but not every pain means labour has started.

💡Here’s how to tell the difference:

✨ If lying on your side or resting makes the pain go away → it’s likely just muscle strain or baby pressing around.

🔥 But if the pain keeps coming back, gets stronger, and closer together → that’s a real contraction.

⏱ If you’re past 37 weeks, just time your contractions — when they’re about 5 minutes apart, it’s go-time!

🚨 But if you’re under 37 weeks and the pain doesn’t stop (or you notice bleeding or water leakage), get checked immediately.

Every pregnancy feels different, but remember — you’re doing amazing. 💕

Breathe, rest, and when in doubt, trust your instincts (and your doctor).

Did you know your child’s tongue affects their sleep and jaw growth? 👶💤
When the tongue doesn’t rest properly on the roof of the mouth, it can affect how the jaw grows — and even cause poor sleep in children.
That’s why some kids benefit from Myofunctional Therapy — simple tongue, lip, and cheek exercises (like a gym for the mouth!) that help strengthen facial muscles and improve jaw development.
✨ These exercises are especially helpful for children who:
🍼 Didn’t breastfeed for long
😴 Snore or breathe through their mouth
🦷 Have crowding or small jawlines
The result?
Straighter teeth, better breathing, and deeper, more restful sleep. 🌙

It may begin with a subtle rumbling in your tummy — or that urge to “go.” Then comes the show — a sticky red discharge that signals it’s time to prepare for hospital.

From show to true labor can take up to three days.
Real contractions grow stronger, closer, and don’t fade away.

WOW! What a beautiful turnout at our event with and on Sunday! 💕
