Currently, Dr. Nakao-Kato is a Professor at Tohoku Seikatsu Bunka University, where she is deeply involved in training the next generation of registered dietitians. In addition to her academic responsibilities, she plays a crucial leadership role as the IDDSI Japan Reference Group Leader and Vice Chair of the IDDSI Asia Reference Group.
