Healthcare is a profession built on giving, but increasingly, it is also one at risk of running on empty. At HSEU CEO Networking 2026 on 24 April, a recurring theme surfaced: burnout, stress, and the need for more sustainable support.
During a panel discussion, Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, and fellow panelists shared insights on the evolving healthcare landscape and the pressures facing the workforce.
NovaHealth TCM was honoured to be invited as one of the speakers at the event. Our Managing Director and Principal Physician, Calista Lim, delivered a sharing session with attendees on how Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) can support overall wellbeing by helping the body restore balance and better manage stress over time.
Together with AiTreat, we also showcased the EMMA AI Tuina robot, demonstrating how technology and TCM can come together in modern care.
Beyond the event, we are also working closely with the Healthcare Services Employeesโ Union (HSEU) to support healthcare workers through subsidised spinal care programmes at our Chinatown Point outlet, including EMMA AI Tuina and targeted spinal care sessions designed to support recovery and preventive care.
Beyond caring for patients, there is also a need to care for the people who make that care possible.ย We are glad to be part of that support system, and happy to continue supporting the healthcare community in any way we can. ๐
