Today, on 15 May, SingHealth Polyclinics had the opportunity to host the Singapore Primary Care Conference 2026 Opening Event, bringing together healthcare leaders, clinicians, educators, and researchers to discuss the future of Academic Family Medicine and innovation in primary care.
Organised together with NHG Polyclinics, National University Polyclinics and the College of Family Physicians Singapore, this year’s conference aims to help build a Sustainable & Resilient Primary Care in Singapore, and explore how innovation and AI can support more connected, personalised, and compassionate care for our communities.
We were honoured to have Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, Mr Ong Ye Kung, grace the event, alongside distinguished colleagues, faculty members and guests from Singapore and around the region.
A key focus of the conference was the growing role of AI in healthcare, and how technology can support more connected, personalised, and preventive care.
During the conference, our CEO, Dr David Ng, also shared our upcoming evaluation of the Brain Health Playground, an AI-powered digital training platform developed in partnership with Youngand Inc. By combining cognitive training, physical exercise and dual tasking, the platform aims to support brain health and slow cognitive decline in individuals with mild cognitive impairment.
As healthcare continues to evolve, innovation, collaboration and continuous learning will remain key to shaping a more integrated and future-ready primary care system for our communities.
