Amazing news! We were doing optogenetics where I used to work at the Oxford Eye Hospital in Oxford and at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
I used to work with Professor James Bainbridge who is also mentioned in the article.

The patient was completely blind before the treatment - now he can see and count objects on a table.
