Ever wondered how surgeons see clearly inside your joints during keyhole surgery?

Here’s something interesting — it’s actually done underwater. 💧

During arthroscopy, fluid is used inside the joint to:
✔️ Expand the space for better visibility
✔️ Reduce bleeding
✔️ Allow precise treatment using small instruments

This is why keyhole surgery is:
✨ Minimally invasive
✨ More accurate
✨ Faster recovery compared to traditional surgery

If you’re dealing with joint pain, injuries, or considering surgery — understanding your options is the first step.

Your orthopaedic specialist may recommend different tests such as X-rays, ultrasound, or MRI scans to understand what is happening inside the joint and identify the root cause of the pain.

Each test provides different information helping doctors make the most accurate diagnosis and recommend the right treatment.

If you are experiencing persistent shoulder or joint discomfort, it’s important not to ignore it.

The injury that happens during heavy lifts.

You’re mid-rep.
Bar coming down.
Suddenly a sharp pain. A pop.

That could be a pectoralis tendon rupture.

This injury is increasingly common in:
✔️ Weightlifters
✔️ CrossFit athletes
✔️ Men in their 20s–40s pushing heavy loads

The pec tendon can tear when the muscle contracts forcefully while being stretched especially during heavy bench press.

Don’t ignore sudden chest pain, bruising, or weakness after a lift.

Did jiujitsu this morning.
DLR. Reverse DLR. All good.

Later I stood up… and my knee felt weird.

No sharp pain. Just tight.

Then I saw this fluid bulge moving side to side 😅

That’s joint effusion — fluid inside the knee.

Athletes, this is more common than you think.

Watch the video and then check out my earlier post where I break down knee effusion and what it really means.
