What exactly is YIN YOGA? We had a chat with our resident Yin Yoga instructor, Catherine (Yoga Yinfinity by Catherine Tan).
Yin Yoga is a slower-paced and passive style of yoga where postures are held for longer durations (3-5mins). This in turn targets the connective tissues in our body. Students of this type of classes typically leave the class feeling more relaxed, spacious in the body and often have a better night’s sleep!
Yin Yoga can benefit you in many different levels: physically, mentally, energetically and even emotionally!
