On July 1st, 2024, NURA Health Screening Center opened in Hanoi, Vietnam, marking Southeast Asia's first AI-integrated cancer screening center. 🎉 This collaboration between Fujifilm and Vietnam Japan Health Technology JSC aims to enhance healthcare with early detection and advanced technology. The center utilizes Fujifilm's CT scan system, Mammography and AI technology to help doctors to promote preventive healthcare in the region.

"In many countries around the world, many lives are lost due to preventable diseases such as cancer, heart attack, and diabetes because they are not detected early. To help solve this problem, we established the NURA Health Monitoring Centre in India in 2021, integrating FUJIFILM's high-tech medical equipment with AI technology for fast and efficient screening. Aiming to expand to 100 centers globally by 2030, we are honored to launch NURA in Vietnam in collaboration with Vietnam Japan Health Technology JSC, following its success in India and Ancient Mongolia. On June 13, 2024, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and the FUJIFILM Healthcare Asia Pacific Learning Academy (FAHLA) hosted a workshop titled "Imaging Biomarker, Segmentation & Quantification Analysis for Clinical Research." The event gathered more than 50 professionals from clinical and academic institutions researchers across the ASEAN, Middle East & Africa to enhance their knowledge and skills in imaging biomarkers, segmentation, and quantification analysis for clinical research.

Expert speakers from the National Cancer Institute, FUJIFILM, and leading academic institutions presented on the latest advancements in imaging biomarkers, their role in disease diagnosis and monitoring, advancements in segmentation technology, and quantification analysis applications. Participants engaged in practical sessions using FUJIFILM Synapse3D advanced imaging software and real-world case studies to apply these techniques in clinical settings.

Outcomes:

1- Knowledge Enhancement:Significant increase in understanding of imaging biomarkers and their clinical research applications.
2- Skill Acquisition:Beneficial hands-on sessions provided practical experience.

We are excited to announce that Fujifilm Healthcare Việt Nam and Vietnamese Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine (VSRNM) successfully co-organized a successful Breast Disease Conference last Saturday, 11 May 2024.

Themed “Breast Disease Screening – Past, Present, and Future,” the event brought together 120 doctors from across Vietnam. It was a highly productive day featuring 11 mammography workstations equipped with Bellus 2 and live demo on Ultrasound AR750DI. Delegates reviewed mammography images, discussed case studies from Japan and Vietnam, and gained valuable insights from Dr. Endo, Dr. Morita & 5 Vietnamese speakers. These hands-on sessions facilitated experience sharing and learning, offering all attendees significant practical experience and help them to understand the importance of mammography & ultrasound in breast disease screening.
