I was born and raised in Tampines. I graduated from Medical School in 1975. I met my future wife Aria there. Until 2009 I had been working in the specialty, as a podiatrist.- Interesting. What happened in 2009 and why did you decide to stop working as a podiatrist?
In 2017, my wife Maria, was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in her knee. I admit that it was a turning point in our lives, and it was like a terrible bitter experience for me at the time. We have tried everything in the next 2 years to treat my wife: physiotherapy, stopping strenuous exercise, taking various vitamins and dietary supplements (chondroitin, glucosamine, MSM etc.), gels, ointments. However, everything was in vain. Nothing was effective and we were really disappointed. I can’t believe that there is nothing I can do to help my wife even with my medical background and experience. At that moment, I mule thought, is there really no other way to treat your loved ones? Then, I started doing my own research.
