The upward trend of va**ng in Singapore since 2022 has eased a little, with a recent study showing a slight drop in v**e users in the first quarter of this year. To bring that number down further, four trade associations are using social media influencers to get youngsters to quit the illegal habit....

Heartiest Congratulations to Dr Toh Ming Ren on being awarded the STS Young Investigator Award 2025! 🎉

The study by Dr Toh and team demonstrated valuable findings - “Our Real-world analysis of adult asthma patients in SingHealth showed that medication nonadherence affects up over one-third of the cohort, representing a major barrier to achieving optimal disease control and population health outcomes. The complex nature of nonadherence requires a coordinated response between primary care physicians and specialist physicians. Population health approaches, supported by real-world data, will be crucial to improve medication adherence rates and clinical outcomes across the care continuum."
