Fabiana Bernardes holds a degree in Dance, is a physiotherapist specialized in Neurofunctional Physiotherapy, and is currently completing a postgraduate program in Oncological Physiotherapy.
Her path combines art, science, and care through an integrated approach to the body in motion.
With extensive experience in movement and rehabilitation, she is a certified Gyrotonic®️ and Gyrokinesis®️ Master Trainer, responsible for training new instructors, teaching specialized equipments and final certification courses. She is also a Master Trainer for the Gyrotonic®️ Applications for Breast Cancer.

Her practice is guided by the belief that movement is essential to the human experience: A powerful tool for connection, education, and transformation.

📣📣📣New GYROTONIC®️ course: Applications for Breast Cancer by SMT ❤️🩷❤️🩷❤️🩷❤️🩷

The Gyrotonic Applications for Breast Cancer program aims to support individuals at any stage of their diagnosis and treatment, assisting in their physical recovery by promoting good breathing, mobility, strengthening, postural reorganization, and reconnecting with their own body.

This course provides strategies to address the various stages of diagnosis and recovery a client may be experiencing, and it also offers a variety of modifications and exercise choices a Trainer might consider based on the specific diagnosis and treatments a client may be working with.

“The illness and treatment of breast cancer can lead to both temporary and permanent consequences in a person’s life,” says Fabiana Bernardes. “Juliu Horvath, the creator of the Gyrotonic Method, teaches that the ultimate goal is to feel comfortable in our own home/body. The gentle, grounding, and empowering nature of the Gyrotonic Method is especially suited to restore lost connections and establish new connections after what are often traumatic experiences along the journey through diagnosis, treatment, and post-recovery.
