Good news for our seniors and those with weakened immunity!

From 1 September 2025, the Shingrix (shingles) and PCV20 (pneumococcal) vaccines are available at subsidised rates under Singapore’s National Adult Immunisation Schedule (https://www.cda.gov.sg/public/vaccinations).

✅ Shingrix: For adults above 60 years old, and for adults age between 18-59 who are immunocompromised (two-dose series).
✅ PCV20: For adults 65+, or 18–64 at higher risk.

🚭 Va**ng is banned in Singapore for a reason.
Vapes may look harmless — colourful designs, sweet flavours and marketed as “cleaner” than ci******es. But the reality is far more concerning.

Health Minister Ong Ye Kung recently revealed that one in three v**es seized in Singapore contained etomidate, an anaesthetic never meant for inhalation. This can trigger hallucinations, seizures, and long-term organ damage.

Other chemicals detected in v**es include:
• Formaldehyde and acrolein, linked to DNA damage and higher cancer risk.
• Diacetyl — a flavouring agent associated with “popcorn lung”, an incurable condition that causes chronic breathlessness.

And yet, a JAMA Network Open study has shown that two‑thirds of people who v**e believe e‑ci******es are less harmful than smoking. The truth? Va**ng delivers addictive ni****ne alongside a cocktail of hazardous chemicals that harm the lungs, heart, and more.

Hi everyone! I'm Clarice, the Marketing Intern at Fullerton Health Singapore — and as my internship comes to a close, I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on what has been a truly unforgettable experience.

From the very first day, I was welcomed with open arms and trusted with real responsibilities that pushed me to learn and grow. One of the highlights of my journey was getting the opportunity to project manage the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025 — a once-in-a-lifetime experience that taught me so much about leadership, coordination, and the power of teamwork.

Throughout my time here, I have had the chance to work alongside a passionate and dedicated team, explore new skills in event management, and get a front-row seat to how meaningful marketing strategies are brought to life in the healthcare space. Every day brought something new, and I truly felt like a valued part of the Fullerton Health family.
