Rose Essential Oil comes from Rosa damascene, more commonly known as the Damask rose, which is a small shrub with thorny stems.

Originally from the Syrian capital of Damascus, rose is beloved for its incredible aroma & many beneficial properties.

Before the sun crests the horizon in Bulgaria, workers can be found harvesting delicate rose blossoms from the fields.

The labor-intensive production process has a low yield, taking more than 10,000 freshly picked blossoms to produce one 5 ML bottle of Rose Essential oils. (that’s about 20kg is 2 bags of rice!)

Because the petals are so delicate, the distillation process must happen the same day the flower is harvested.

From this labor of love emerges an essential oil known for its sweet, floral, and romantic aroma.

Mum fell off the bed in the hotel and hit the bedside table on 26 Jan 2026. Rushed to the ER and got total of 7 stitches, 3 on the ear, 4 on the head. 💔
On 4 Feb, the area still looks red, and I told my helper to start applying Frankincense on the wound.
By the time I was back on 11 Feb and where she had removed the stitches, the wound looks much healed.

It was good that we have oils on hand and I can tell my helper what oils to use although I’m not around my mum ❤️

Taking my supplements consistently starting this Lunar New Year!
Yes there is going to be so much feasting during this period, but then macro and micros are most likely still be off! So start with taking VMG+, MetaPWR, EOMega+ seriously.

New achievement unlocked.
Not in a nice way 🥲

My mother had an accident three weeks ago, she fell off the bed and hit the bedside table at the hotel. She ended up needing 3 stitches on her ear and 4 stitches on her head.

Today was finally the day she could wash her hair again! So I happily whipped out my brand new bottle of Tea Tree essential oil, planning to add a drop into her shampoo for a deep cleanse.

After the helper helped me open it and gave me one drop (yes, one drop is enough!), she was about to put it away…
and then she accidentally bumped into the glass partition.

The bottle flew out of her hands and smashed on the floor 😭😭😭

I just stood there staring at the broken bottle. Even though she said sorry immediately, I couldn’t bring myself to say anything 😢

So I dipped my palms into whatever was left on the floor and rubbed it all over my mum from head to toe during her shower. Then I added water and spread the rest around the toilet floor to give the whole bathroom a thorough disinfection.

Fastest way to use up 300 drops of goodness 💔💔💔

On a good note, the toilet and room smells great! ❤️

Do you know that whenever I feel like I’m getting a cold or flu, I would make my own little essential oil capsule to ingest every 2 hourly. It really does make me recover faster! After understanding different properties of essential oils, together with the CPTG certification I feel safe to consume the oils, to help with the symptoms.
And I tried this little experiment this time of adding turmeric powder and black pepper specks into my capsule first, then add other oils in!

Last month, we had the privilege to be invited by Seed Campus Singapore to give the Young Changemakers a scent-sational time discovering essential oils! 😍

From sharing on WHY we are aromatherapist, to learning how natural ingredients boost wellness, explorIng how different scents come from plants, and discovered that one tree can create many magical smells. Last but not least putting their noses to the test with a fun scent game - lots the of giggles included! Ending off with a simple DIY to bring home.

Looking forward to share with more kids, so they feel inspired and empowered!
