Last week we celebrated World Menopause Day!

This spotlight on menopause gives us the opportunity to draw attention to its impact on women’s lives and what we as a society still need to address to meet the health and wellbeing needs of women as they reach midlife and beyond.

Did you know?
⁃ 1 in 10 women in the UK left their job due to significant menopausal symptoms. (Fawcett Society)
⁃ Menopause costs an estimated $1.8 billion in lost working time per year for women in the US. (Mayo Clinic)
⁃ While 60% of women with severe menopausal symptoms seek medical attention, nearly 75% of them are left untreated. (Yale University)
