At today's Woodlands Health (WH) Townhall, CHI@WH showcased how automation, AI, and sustainability are already powering Singapore’s newest integrated hospital.

With CHI’s support through leadership development, dedicated innovation funding, and strategic partnerships, the future looks even smarter.

From AI-powered clinical solutions to human-centred innovation and sustainability, WH is now officially part of the CHI Innovation Network — and we couldn’t be more excited.

✨We were honoured to welcome Minister Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, to CHI INNOVATE 2025 this morning!✨

📍 At the Tri-Cluster AI Showcase in CHIRP, he explored innovations from NHG, SingHealth, and NUHS — from Healthbot to emerging AI solutions. Led by Prof Jonty Heaversedge, the tour spotlighted how AI is transforming care, enabled by platforms like CHIRP and CHISEL.

🎤 In his keynote, Minister Ong reminded us that “innovation and AI innovation are fundamentally a human, not a technological, endeavour.” He called for bold strategies, a shift toward community-based care, and thoughtful AI use: “Healthcare must be AI-enabled, not AI-decided.”

🤝 Two strategic partnerships were inked:
1️⃣ NHG x ST Engineering – to co-develop smart systems and launch an Engineering Sandbox
2️⃣ NHG x NTU LKCMedicine x Cornerstone Robotics – to advance robotic-assisted surgery
