A single diagnosis can take everything away.

For some patients at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, illness is not only a battle for health but also a struggle to afford basic medical needs. With little savings and limited family support, the cost of essentials such as wheelchairs, interim dialysis, breathing equipment and transport can quickly become overwhelming. Without timely support, recovery may be delayed, affecting dignity, independence and quality of life.

That is why Giving Spark matters. Sometimes, change does not begin with something big. It begins with a simple act of giving. When each of us does a small part, together we can spark hope, ease burdens, and remind patients that they are not alone. Because care goes beyond medicine.

🎨🍚 SHARE - A Bowl of Rice 🍚🎨

Art Action has once again brought this unique art exhibition to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and it is bigger than ever!

Mr. Tan Kay Nguan founded the project “Share a Bowl of Rice” when he created an art piece using a combination of rice grains and acrylic painting. He then spent four years studying various methods on how to handle the rice grains before embarking on this charity journey. This year, from vibrant contemporary works to traditional ink paintings and calligraphy, every artwork captures each artist's vision and effort, all withshared purpose to give back. Each piece tells a story and every contribution helps extend care and support to those in need.

The exhibition is currently ongoing and we warmly invite everyone to come by and view the artworks!

Watch as our volunteers from The Smile Foundation at St Joseph’s Institution International spread smiles across the ICH ward, giving out handwritten cards and singing Christmas carols for our patients.
