Skincare not giving the results you expect?

If you’re experiencing repeated breakouts, dryness, sensitivity, or slow recovery, these could be signals of a weakened skin barrier. When your skin foundation is weak, topical care and products alone might not be enough.

The key to healthy, resilient skin isn’t just about what you put on it, but how well your skin repairs and protects itself. Start caring for your skin from within.

Noticing your skin feeling more sensitive lately? It might not be your products, but your skin barrier.

As your skin barrier weakens over time, resilience slows, and even small triggers can cause irritation, redness, or breakouts. That’s why constantly switching products may not be helping. The focus should be on strengthening your skin’s ability to repair.

Treat the root, not just the reaction. Start by understanding your skin with a professional skin analysis at AEON Medical.

In aesthetic medicine, approaches are constantly evolving. While skincare trends come and go, not all are backed by scientific evidence.

That’s why at AEON Medical, we place strong emphasis on staying updated with current research, techniques, and medical standards, while taking the time to truly understand each patient’s skin. This allows us to evaluate every case carefully and ensure that each recommendation is appropriate for the individual.

Did you know that pores don’t just “open” or “close”?

They are a permanent part of your skin’s structure, and their visibility is shaped by factors such as genetics, oil activity, and overall skin support. In Singapore’s humid climate, these factors are amplified: increased sebum production, combined with sweat and environmental debris, can become trapped in the pores, making them appear larger.

Understanding what drives these changes is essential before considering corrective treatments. Book a professional assessment with us to evaluate the best approach for your unique skin type.

When the summer heat hits, oily skin isn’t always caused by sweat or high temperatures.

Dehydrated skin often overproduces sebum, creating an oily, glossy complexion even though the skin is dry. This happens because dehydration impairs the skin’s natural barrier and triggers compensatory oil production.

Schedule a consultation with us and uncover how your skin type reacts to humidity.

Most people blame Singapore’s humidity for breakouts, but there may be another overlooked trigger: constant temperature changes throughout the day.

From a cold air-conditioned bedroom, to humid outdoor heat, to the freezing MRT and dry office air-con, your skin goes through multiple climate shifts in just a few hours. These rapid transitions can stress the skin barrier, affecting how your skin regulates oil and moisture. When the barrier is disrupted, skin may become more reactive and more prone to acne flare-ups.

Understanding your skin is the first step towards effective treatment. Book a professional skin analysis with us for personalised advice and recommendations.

From outdoor moisture, to air-conditioned dryness, to sweating in the heat, our skin constantly adapts to Singapore’s unpredictable climate.

These shifts in humidity influence sebum production, barrier function, and hydration balance — often contributing to persistent congestion, enlarged pores, or surface dehydration. When concerns continue despite suitable skincare, the issue may not be your products, but how your unique skin type is physiologically responding to its environment.

Effective treatment starts with accurate diagnosis. At AEON Medical, we assess the root cause before recommending corrective or regenerative treatments. Book a consultation with us today.

Enhancing what’s naturally yours starts with understanding the whole picture, not just what’s visible. That’s why our approach begins with skin quality — the foundation of how skin functions, repairs, and ages over time.

Guided by our “360 Care” medical philosophy, we view each patient as a complete individual rather than a collection of isolated concerns. We move away from quick-fix aesthetics and instead focus on balanced, medically guided care that supports skin health alongside lifestyle and long-term wellbeing.

Through personalised, minimally invasive treatments, our goal is to help your skin age naturally and sustainably, while respecting your safety and individuality.

It’s common to mistake structural fillers for skin booster treatment, but they serve different purposes.

Fillers are designed to add volume and shape specific areas. Skin booster treatment works at the skin level instead. They contain polynucleotides (PN) — biomolecules derived from purified salmon DNA — known for their high biocompatibility with human skin.

When injecting into the dermis, PN is intended to support skin quality and is associated with improved collagen activity. Over time, this may lead to skin that feels firmer, smoother and more resilient, with changes developing gradually without altering facial structure.

At AEON Medical, every treatment begins with truly understanding your skin.

Before recommending any treatment, our doctors conduct a formal consultation to assess your skin condition, ageing patterns, and personal concerns. Advanced skin analysis tools may also be used to better understand your skin beyond what’s visible on the surface.

Based on this assessment, treatment plans are carefully personalised to your skin’s needs — rather than following standardised solutions or quick fixes. Each plan is guided by medical judgment and tailored with your comfort in mind at every stage.

Think wrinkles are the only signs of ageing? Think again.

Skin ageing often begins subtly, with changes in texture, slower recovery, or skin that feels less resilient over time. These early shifts aren’t always obvious, but they matter.

During a clinical evaluation of skin quality, a doctor can assess these early changes and determine whether treatments such as DOT™ PN may be suitable. Such treatments are often considered for supporting overall skin health and for concerns such as skin texture, elasticity, hydration, and early signs of ageing. Each plan is tailored to the individual’s skin, ensuring care is personalised and appropriate.
